Site Nurse

Main Responsibilities

• Activate emergency response and respond to casualty.
• Assess casualties and identify the nature and cause of injuries.
• Ensure casualty maintain stability before the arrival of a medical practitioner.
• Counsel personnels with medical challenges and report to Site manager
• Identify hazards and risks to personnel.
• Promote recovery in affected individuals.
• Manage an incident and ensure the continuing safety of all individuals at site.
• Sterilize, disinfect, anoint, and bandage minor cuts and burns.
• Control or prevent cross-contamination of infections.
• Call for appropriate assistance.
• Check that first aid kits are well supplied.
• Shall be part of the project emergency team.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participate in HSE activities, including toolbox meetings and HSE meetings.
• Proactively Identify hazards and assess risks related to project activities.
• Involved in the identification of environmental aspects and impact, including the consideration of environmental impact as regards project activities.
• Liaises with HSE and vendors to conduct job hazard analysis as applicable.
• Identify and notify HSE manager of any legal or other requirements related to project activities.
• Ensure the establishment of HSE objectives.
• Ensure that medical activities comply with acceptable standards and company objectives.
• Ensure that the stop card authority is utilized onsite to mitigate unsafe activity.
• Complies with all health, safety environmental as well as legal requirements to which Prezicon subscribes.

QMS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively take part in QMS activities and processes
• Ensure Quality Objectives set, are tracked and monitored accordingly.
• Complies with company quality policy as well as regulatory & legal requirements to which company subscribes to
• Ensure risks and opportunities are identified and documented in appropriate template.
• Ensure Stakeholder’s Matrix are established.
• QMS conformance and customer focus promotion
• Complies with ISO 9001:2015

Educational & Professional Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Nursing or its equivalent, along with any other relevant certifications.

• Valid Nursing Certificate (licensed and in good standing).

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
