Main Responsibilities

• Continuously observe the work area for unsafe conditions or practices.
• Identify and inform site workers of potential hazards.
• Be alert to changing site conditions (e.g., gas leaks, fire, equipment malfunctions).
• Identify and report near misses or incidents immediately.
• Verify that workers are using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Confirm that approved work/safety procedures, standards, rules, and permit requirements are followed.
• Ensure only authorized personnel are present in hazardous zones.
• Maintain constant communication with workers inside the confined space.
• Monitor air quality and environmental conditions.
• Keep track of worker entry and exit.
• Initiate emergency rescue procedures if needed.
• Remain on duty during and after hot work operations
• Be equipped with a fire extinguisher and trained in its use.
• Watch for sparks, slag, or heat sources that could ignite nearby materials.
• Know the site’s/project’s emergency response procedures.
• Raise the alarm and contact emergency responders if an incident occurs.
• Assist in evacuations if needed, without compromising personal safety.
• Keep in regular contact with supervisors and team leads.
• Report unsafe acts/conditions (anomaly), incidents, or near misses.
• Maintain logs or checklists as required by the safety plan.

QMS RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively take part in QMS activities and processes
• Ensure Quality Objectives set, are tracked and monitored accordingly.
• Complies with company quality policy as well as regulatory & legal requirements to which company subscribes to
• Ensure risks and opportunities are identified and documented in an appropriate template.
• Ensure Stakeholder’s Matrix is established.
• QMS conformance and customer focus promotion
• Complies with ISO 9001:2015
